There are countless hikes on Oahu, but this page will highlight some of the most popular and rewarding ones. Oahu has several popular day hikes that offer a change of pace from resting on the beach. The closest one to Waikiki is probably the hike to the rim of Diamond Head, but another nearby choice is the Manoa Falls rainforest trail in the hills above Honolulu. A short drive around the island, Makapuu Wayside Trail offers sweeping views of the lonely southeastern tip of the island.
