This is a wider view of Kee Beach from the Kalalau Trail in northern Kauai. You can see in this photo how the reef protects the beach from the brunt of the waves. This makes Kee a picturesque place to go swimming and snorkeling inside the reef, but the area is not known for sailing or windboarding. The tree on the right part of the frame is a Hala tree.
