The Iliau Nature Loop Trail is a short walk near the southern end of Waimea Canyon that includes iliau plants and views of the canyon beyond. The iliau plant grows only here, on the southern slopes of Waimea Canyon on Kauai. It is related to the silversword that grows on Haleakala on Maui and the greensword on Mauna Kea on the Big Island.
