The Iliau Nature Trail is a 0.3 mile easy loop trail near the southern end of Waimea Canyon State Park in western Kauai. The iliau (bottom left) is a relative of the silversword that grows on Haleakala on Maui and the greensword that grows on the Big Island. This rare plant grows only on the dry western mountain slopes of Kauai.
