We now have reached the famous north shore of Oahu. In the calmer summer months, there are a number of great places to swim and snorkel along this coast. In the winter, the waves kick up, and only experienced or professional surfers should enter the water in most places. This photo was taken near the Sunset Beach area during the winter.
