Continuing westward, we make a quick stop at the Hanapepe Valley Scenic Overlook, just east of Hanapepe, Kauai. About five miles further west, at Waimea, the road splits into two forks. The left fork follows the coast for a few more miles to where the road ends around Mana. We take the right fork, which heads northward into Waimea Canyon.
