Kalalau Trail

The Kalalau Trail is a difficult 22-mile round-trip trail along the rugged northern coast of Kauai. The Sierra Club has given this trail a "strenuous" difficulty rating. It is steep, rocky, and long. At times it passes through thick vegetation, and at other times you walk along the exposed cliff, quite near precipitous drop-offs. Know your limits and check the conditions before attempting any part of this trail.
