Moving southward from Oahu, our beach tour takes us to some of the top beaches on Maui. We begin at the end of the road in the southwestern corner of Maui at a place called La Perouse Bay. La Perouse Bay is a beach with a lot of raw black lava. The main attraction here is the snorkeling, which can be good when conditions are right. The beach is located at the end of a gravel road, and there are no facillities and no lifeguard.
