Probably the premier beach on the windward side of the island (some would say on the whole island) is Lanikai beach. This photo is actually from Mokulua Nui island and Lanikai Beach is visible in the distance. Lanikai is located just southeast of Kailua Beach Park, another great beach with more facilities.
