The first thing you hit as you head east from Waikiki is Diamond Head State Monument. We saw Diamond Head from Honolulu itself, but now we have the chance to hike to the top of it for a great view. This lighthouse (and reefs beyond) are visible from the observation area at the top of Diamond Head.
