Kula Botanical Garden

Kula Botanical Garden is located in the south part of Kula on the slopes of Haleakala near the center of Maui. The cool mountain air is a nice change from the warm beaches below, and the views of Maui's main valley are spectacular. This is the best place in Hawaii to see protea flowers. The protea is an exotic flower from South Africa that grows so well on these slopes that it is exported from here to florists around the world.
