Continuing up the western coast, we come to the city of Lahaina. Lahaina has a small harbor, shops, restaurants, and a few interesting attractions. Lodging here can be among the most affordable options in this part of Maui. Although there aren't any great beaches in Lahaina proper, some of the best ones in Maui are only 5 or 10 minutes away in Kaanapali. Lahaina is a convenient spot to start many types of boat tours (trips to Molokini, Lanai, etc.).
