Further north is this view of Maalaea Bay with Mount Haleakala in the distance, taken from Papawai Point Scenic Overlook. Papawai Point is just north of the city of Maalaea (where the aquarium is). In the winter, it is often possible to spot whales in the bay from this overlook.
