Wailua Falls

A few minute's drive moves us southward to Wailua Falls, a beautiful twin waterfall on Ma'alo Road. It is possible to hike down to the end of the pool opposite the falls, but this can be a very muddy, slippery, steep venture. There are signs posted indicating that the trail is dangerous and not recommended. Like Opaekaa Falls, Wailua Falls is easily visible from an overlook by the road.
