Entering the park from the northeast entrance near the town of Volcano, the first stop is the Kilauea Visitor Center. Here restrooms, maps, and current information are available. Many of the famous spots in the park are located near Crater Rim Road, a 10.6 mile road that makes a loop round the Kilauea Caldera summit.
