Sign at start of Akaka Falls trail, north of Hilo, Big Island of Hawaii. Following the "suggested circle route" to the right brings you to Kahuna Falls first before you reach the more impressive Akaka Falls near the end of the circle. If you are the type that eats dessert first, however, Akaka Falls is only a short distance to the left.
