Another famous beach on the big island is Grey Beach in Waipio Valley in the northeastern part of Big Island of Hawaii. This beach is accessible only via a steep dirt road that is navigable by 4x4 vehicle, on horseback, or on foot. There are no facilities and Waipio Valley is a very remote area, but you can definitely find solitude here.
