This shot facing north shows Kamaole Beach II at very high tide. Often more sand is available when the tide is lower. The Kamaole Beach Royal Oceanview condominium buildings are in the center of the photo. Kamaole Beach I is to the north of these buildings, barely visible in the left center of the photo. In the distance the West Maui mountains rise beyond Maui's central valley.
