Heading east from Waikiki around the coast of Oahu, we reach Hanauma Bay Nature Preserve. This very special beach includes some of the best snorkeling anywhere. The protected reef contains a great diversity of colorful fish. Equipment rentals, lockers, showers, and restrooms are all conveniently located right on the beach. A shuttle takes guests down the steep hill and back up again. Hanauma Bay is best experienced early in the morning, before the waves and the crowds have kicked a lot of sand up off the bottom.
