Near Waimea Bay is a magical strip of sand known informally as turtle beach. This green sea turtle is a typical sun-seeker on the beach here. The turtles like to use this particular stretch of sand to warm up. There's no sign, but if you keep your eyes peeled for the parked cars you can probably find it.
