Diamond Head from Ala Moana beach park, Oahu. Ala Moana is a great beach if you want to get away from the commotion of Waikiki for a little while. This area has a much more "local" flavor, with grills, large greenspaces, and a long circular drive with lots of parking. Restrooms and showers are available as well, and just across the road is the Ala Moana Shopping Center, an upscale mall.
